Up for sale is a beautiful pair of vintage amethyst glass vases featuring a stunning silver overlay. The glass is a deep, rich amethyst color that looks black in normal room lighting but glows purple when backlit.
Each vase is decorated with an intricate, textured silver overlay depicting a large floral blossom and trailing leaves. The rims and bases are also accented with silver bands.
Condition:
These pieces are in good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. There is some natural patina and tarnishing on the silver overlay, particularly around the rims, which is common for pieces of this age. I have not polished them to preserve the vintage look, but they should shine up nicely if desired. (Please see photos for close-up details on the silver condition).
